About US

First, My Work!

Historical Fiction Series for Elementary Ages to Adult.

Historical fiction is one of my top choices for reading, and my work is a thank-you contribution to that genre. You can find out more about each of these projects under the heading Projects and Publications.

  • Tales of Freedom Tavern: This series centers on a family of a Burke County, NC, tavern-keeper during the era of the Revolution and the founding of our nation.
  • Top Shelf Tales:  Move through the geography and historical timeline of North Carolina with Aurora Saunters as she teaches her grandchildren to survive in unexpected situations. Meet historic figures such as Blackbeard and visit sites such as Bath and Old Salem while the Saunters family solves the mystery of their ability to move through time and distance.

But there were spinoff publications.

  • Other publications are spin-offs from research for the fictional tales.

Science Fiction for Secondary Ages Through Adult

  • Martian Spring Series: This latest series ventures to Mars in the not-so-distant future and follows the exploits of Spring Graviston, who finds her way in a new world.
